Aadhar is the twelve digit individual identification number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India on behalf of the government of India.
To get the Aadhar Card, you need to enrol yourself in the enrolment camp, which is set up in each district, each town, and each village.
Do not forget to carry the name, date of birth, address, and photo identity proof. Like photo ID, passport or PAN card, ration card, driving licence, birth certificate, or any other valid government document.
After the document verification, biometric scanning of ten fingerprints. Biometric scanning of iris is carried out. It takes sixty to ninety days from the enrolment date for the Aadhar Card to reach your address.
